Q. I paid the fee, but I didn't get access?
A. Most likely is because you did not click on the link in Paypal that returns you back to our website, which is required to complete the access process. We can easily verify that you made a payment and we will send you a direct link to give you access to the service.
Q. I want a refund?
A. In the event you are not able to use our serivce, after verification we will happily give you a full refund. To start a refund request click Here.
Q. What should I do if I'm receiving un-wanted or un-solicited emails or text messages?
A. Click HERE to Blacklist your contact information so you won't receive any emails or text messages from our server.
Q. What should I do if I want to remove a picture text message I sent?
A. Click HERE to Remove the information from our server. Our removal process uses your IP address (18.225.54.147) to locate your tracking information. We then delete those records from our server via an automated service. Once the tracking information has been deleted we can not recover that information. We also do not keep any backups of tracking information.
Q. How do I start a subscription?
A. Once you try to send a picture text message, you will be prompted to use the Free or Full (Paid) Version.
Q. What are the file sending limits?
A. The maximum sending limit is 25MB (25,600KB) on our Full Version. On our Lite version it's maximum 1MB (1024KB). Remember, connection speed and traffic are always a factor when uploading & sending a file of any type.
Q. What are the file receiving limits?
A. When sending email our sending file limits should be applicable deliverable limits. When sending to a mobile device any text less than 140 characters and a file less than 1MB (1024) should be an acceptable delivery limit. When sending to a mobile device a file, the phone manufacturer type and the OS are factors in determining the deliverability of the file.
Q. What types of files can I send?
A. You can send any file type you want for the exception of file types that are considered executables (i.e. .exe, .bat, .msi., etc...).
Q. What types of files can a person receive?
A. When sending to an email generally all files will be received. The receivers spam & virus protection will most likely catch any suspicious file types that are not in our file type list that are allowed to be sent. When sending a file to a mobile device, the phone manufacturer type and the OS are factors in determining the deliverability of the file.
Q. Will the person get what you send?
A. When you send a file to an email that is within our sending limits and you have the correct email address, the receiver should get it.
If you are sending to a mobile device, a picture (.jpg or .gif) that is less than 1MB (1,024KB) like a Facebook screenshot or an audio file (mp3) that's less than 1 minute like a ringtone. The receiver should get it as long as you have the correct mobile number and carrier.
When sending a video file, honestly I wouldn't recommend sending a person a video file to a mobile device via a text message. For me to say they should get the video file (mp3) size would have to be 1 second to 1 minute in length.
If you send a file to an email, obviously the limits are much larger meaning there is a greater chance of the receiver to receive the file.
The bottom line is you know our limits, but we don't know each receiver's carrier limits.
Q. What is the difference between the Full Version and Lite Version?
A. Full Version there is a max of 1000 characters allowed, you can send a file up to 25MB (25,600MB), and you have to pay a small fee, but there are no Ads. The Lite Version as known as the "Free" version has a max of 140 characters allowed, you can send a file up to 1MB (1,024KB). You have to take a survey and it has Ads.
The receiver can not respond back to the sender in either version.
Q. Where do I go to select the Full or Lite version?
A. You can click the Group Text Connect logo at the top of the page or click the Home link at the bottom of the page.
Q. What guarantee do I have that my message will be delivered?
A. You have no guarantee because of a number of reasons. 1) You may have entered the wrong number. 2) You may have selected the wrong carrier. To verify you have the right carrier use the LOOKUP feature. 3) The receivers carrier may consider your message spam. 4) If you send a file, depending on the file type the receivers carrier may flag the file as suspicious or spam. 5) If you send a file to a mobile the file may exceed the receivers carrier file limit size.
All of these possibilities are beyond our control. So if you send it, it's a chance you are taking.
You are always welcome to send yourself a test message if you just want to prove to yourself the service works.
Q. Is there a way to find out who is sending picture text messages?
A. This is an anonymous website meaning no information is required in order to use this website. Users are warned to not use our website for malicious purposes. In the event they do we only could provide authorities the IP address based on a date and time that would need to be provided to us.
Note: A person that uses our website to send a picture text message can request that information be deleted off our server via an automated pay service. They would only need to provide the automated pay service with the IP address they used in order to removed the picture text message they sent in error.
Q. Why are you letting this person send me picture text messages?
For those that think we are responsible for you getting an anonymous picture text message. They cannot use our website unless they have YOUR phone number. How YOUR phone number got into the hands of the person that sent the anonymous picture text message, that's on YOU and your "circle," ...not us.
Q. I have a question that is not answered on this page?
A. If you send us an email about a question that has already been answered on this page you will not get a response. All other inquiries may be sent to Support.
